Saturday Sneak Peek -- Love is in the Air...Week 2

Good evening everyone.  I am a bit later than usual getting this post out today.  It was quite a night for me.  I didn't get to bed until after 2 am which used to be early for me but these days, I've been trying to crawl in no later than midnight.  However, it wasn't to be last night and it was after 4 am when I fell into a sporadic sleep only to wake up at 7:10 and realize I hadn't uploaded a card to a challenge blog that was scheduled to post at 10:00 am.  Oy vey! So up I got and with one eye closed and the other eye half closed, I took care of business.  Then I crawled back into bed and spent the next two hours writing down everything that kept popping into my head that I have to get accomplished in the next two days.  Needless to say, it has been one of those days but I'm here now.  Hopefully, I won't get fired. ;)

It is time for the next sneak peek in our Love is in the Air collection.  Check out what is in store for this coming Wednesday...

Soooooo....have any ideas as to what the image might be?  I think I may have made this one way too easy.    If you think you might know what the OVERALL image may be, no matter how outrageous the guess, please offer it up by Tuesday, Feb. 18th at 12:00 pm EST (noon) in a comment on this post to be eligible to win a possible goody.

Don't Forget...

There is still an opportunity to win a copy of Naomi's latest release, 'Heart Bouquet'.  Click HERE and scroll down to find out how.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week everyone and I will see you all on Wednesday!

Happy Valentine's Day!/Video update on Michael

Hello everyone!  You get two of us today for the low price of reading one post!  I'm going to start us off and then Naomi is going to close out the post.  So let's get begin.

Remember when I said you'll never know when a freebie will appear.  Well, today is one of those days.  As a small Valentine's gift to you, Naomi would like to present...

Click HERE to get "Baby Angel-luv" now available in the freebie section of the store.

Oh goodness.  Baby Angel-luv has so much love to share that it is just oozing out of every pore.   As you can see, Baby Angel-luv is a coloured image.  Naomi has recently started getting into creating some coloured images to provide options for those who enjoy her images but are uncomfortable with colouring them on their own.

One of our DT even had the opportunity to create a card to show off this sweet image...
I'm pretty impressed given that I only sent the image out to the team yesterday.  I never expected anyone to pull off creating a card, but Monica managed to.  What a wonderful job she did too.  I've always liked the striking combination of red and white and today is no exception.  Some cool embossing, a pretty ribbon and a beautiful sentiment mean someone special is about to get a great card.  You can check out all the details of Monica's card by visiting her blog, TaylorMade 4U.

Guess who else had some extra time to play...
It is wonderful to see one of Naomi's cards again, isn't it?  She did a fabulous job but we expect no less from the lady who makes this blog possible.  All of Naomi's work is incredible and I don't think I am biased.  Okay, maybe I'm a bit biased but that doesn't change how great a card maker she really is.

Well that is it for my bit.  Keep reading for an update from Naomi.

Have a simply wonderful day everyone.  I hope that you all have the opportunity to spend some time with the people most important to you, today and everyday for that matter.  I'll see you again tomorrow with the sneak peek for next week's new release.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Now an update from Naomi...

Hello my peeps and a Happy Valentine's Day to all of you.  I hope your day is wrapped with warmth and you give as much love as you receive on this special day.

I am happy to announce that I am not just dropping in but am back in action.  I can't wait to see what you all have been up to!! A big thanks and lots of love to Lisa who has held up the fort while I was away, she is quite entertaining isn't she!

Cost effective CupCake Stand

I got this 3 tier cardboard deco stand at the Dollar Store last week for all but $2.00 , all you have to do is assemble it although I did use tape to reinforce it..it turned out great don't you think? When the cupcakes disappear in all but 10 min's I plan to keep it so I can replicate it with my own design for any occasion.

Mmmmmmmmmmm, let me tell you they are the best cupcakes I have ever made,  melt in your mouth...gotta go and have another, not counting calories today, hehe!

 Update on Michael

Michael saw the Doctor for his check up last week and although his progress in walking is slow it is because he has what is called a Tethered Cord, a problem at the base of his back, this will be corrected with surgery in the future. Michael no longer uses the wheelchair!!!

I thought you could see Michael's progress instead of just hearing about it so enjoy the video below which was intended originally only for mom but when I uploaded it to facebook it went out to everyone, lol, I am happy it did for Michael loved all the encouraging words. Enjoy!

Bit By the Bug: Another Bug is Born...Hearts Bouquet

Welcome to a brand new collection of new releases.  Valentine's day is of course just two short days away.  Are you ready?  Can you feel all the love in the air?  The wonderful thing about love is that it is always in season so the images coming out in the next three weeks can be used any time at all!  The first image being released in this new collection is...

Naomi has even created a coloured version as well so you have a choice of which one you'd like to purchase!

Heart Bouquet is in the STORE in the Special Occasions section under Valentine's and is available for purchase, if you are interested.

Team Bugaloo is up with creations to showcase Naomi's pretty new image this week...
This card is simply beautiful.  I love the background paper that Vicky used and the interesting tag that she framed the Heart Bouquet with.  And, look at that ribbon and spectacular button.  I can attest that this card is even more lovely in person.  Just after I uploaded the card to the blog, I went downstairs to make supper.  There was an envelope waiting for me from Vicky with this card sitting in it.  How cool is that?!  You can check out the details of this project over on Vicky's blog Crafting Vicky.

Next up is...
Here we have another fabulous creation.  I really like how Monica fussy cut around the image and set it up within that pretty doily.  Add some more cool hearts, a pretty bow, some pennants and a sweet sentiment and it looks like someone else's day will be made once they receive this one.  You can check out all the details of Monica's card by visiting her blog, TaylorMade 4U.

Sneak peek guesses...

Thanks to all of you who offered up guesses.   Congrats to KT Fit Kitty who came up with the answer that it was a bouquet of hearts.  Contact me Kitty by clicking HERE to pull up my email address and send me a message with the subject heading 'CBD Sneak Peek: Heart Bouquet' and we'll discuss your goody.  Please note that it might take me a few days to get back to you though, so I appreciate your patience.

Of course my favourite guess was by Kimberly Goodman who said:
It is a huge birthday cake covered in heart picks and other finery to make it the most specialist cake ever for my birthday on the 13th. I will not say how many candle as we don't want to start a fire.

So a big birthday shout out to Kimberly!!!

We hope that you have a fabulous day tomorrow!!!

Now, it is your chance to win a copy of the latest new release...

Once again you have the opportunity to win a copy of Naomi's newest release.  In order to have your name in the running to win a copy of Heart Bouquet, I want to know, how old were you when you had your first kiss, do you remember the name of the person you kissed and where did it take place--that is the location you were in (i.e. at school, home, etc), not the location on your body--this is a G rated blog after all.  I'd love to hear your thoughts on the subject.  Leave a comment ON THIS POST by noon on February 18th, in order to have your chance at winning this image.

Winners will be announced Feb. 19th during our next new release!

Which means it is time to announce the winner of the last new release.  I had wanted to know,  if a snowman was able to participate at the Winter Olympics, what would be the ultimate sport he should compete in and why?    I loved your answers.  Some thought a snowman would be a natural at snowboarding while another thought skiing or tobogganing would be right up his alley.  One person even speculated that figure skating would be a way to show off his strengths with a triple axle. Although I'd think he should try and push it with a quad.  After all, he would be going up against the best of the best with Patrick Chan and Evgeni Plushenko around.  Now personally, I think a snowman's best sport just might be luge or skeleton.  They wouldn't even need the equipment.  They could just go down on their back in luge and their tummy for skeleton.

Oh and Canada just happens to be in second place at the moment with 4 Golds, 3 Silvers and 2 Bronze <<<Canadian pride oozing out all over the place>>>.  Go Canada!  We were in the lead up until today but then Norway creeped in with two more medals.   That's okay.  I'm sure we'll be right back up on top soon!

Now enough about that, time to tell you who won a copy of the last new release, Snowden...

  Edwina
(randomly chosen at  Mini Web Tool)

Edwina, please contact me by clicking HERE with the subject heading 'Snowden' to get your copy.  Like I mentioned above, it might take me a few days to get back to you, so I appreciate your patience.

Now you know we can't start a new collection, without a new round of jokes.  This time I'm going with a classic--knock knock jokes...
 Knock Knock!
Who’s there?
Value.
Value who ?
Value be my Valentine?
(source:  http://www.hellokids.com/c_19585/reading-online/jokes-and-riddles/valentine-jokes/knock-knock-valentine-s-day)

Well that is it for this one!  It is time to head to bed and catch up on about 8 hours worth of Olympics.  I'm officially back on Saturday with the next sneak peek but remember, you never know when a freebie might appear now.  Will it be this week?  Well, I guess you'll just have to wait and see, won't you.
