It is Saturday and time for another sneak peek.  Except this time it isn't for a freebie it is for Naomi's newest release which will be making its debut this coming Thursday.

Let's take a peek and see what Naomi has cooked up for us this time...

Put your thinking caps on and throw out some guesses.  I'm really interested to see what you come with for this one.  Same offer as always, I'll offer up a digital designer paper as a reward to anyone who can figure out what the overall image is.  Offer up your guesses by Wednesday at 12:00 EST to be eligible.

We will be giving you all the opportunity to win this image so stay tuned on Thursday for further details.

Until then, have a wonderful week everyone!

Father's Day Card using Cricut Cuts

Hello!

Today I have a card  to show that  I made for a very special person in my life, my Step Father Greg... he means many worlds to me.

I love that he can be quite goofy so I can have an excuse to be just as goofy,

I love that he can lend seeds of wisdom in a gentle way giving you the choice to water it or not.

I love that he is a crazy hard worker so I never had to worry about my mom

I love that he stepped into a family of five and never looked back,  I should say a LIVELY family of five... actually there were points we were lunatics..hehe!

I love how he never judged me through the lets say "the experimental" years of my life.

I loved our private chats when he had just picked me up from soccer practice  or  from the church group
I love how he mumbles as he is walking away from you or at the other end of the house , first or last we never know what he  said... my mom and I just look at each other for that short second and continue watching TV, hehe!

I love his big hardy haha laugh when telling something he thinks is really funny ,  he gets louder and more determined to get it out with a little stutter here and there.

I love his quiet serene persona in the morning as he prepares himself for the day making eggs in an iron cast frying pan and sets tea up for my mom for when she wakes.

I love that he has an amazing positive attitude that has helped both my mom and I when he had part of his Kidney taken out last fall, his first words I remember were " you only need one Kidney to live"

As you could imagine I could go on and on, this is my stepfather and my love runs deeper than the deepest ocean, cliche (cli-shay) I know but it expresses just how I feel.

Here is the card I made for Greg!!!
Sentiment reads: BE STRONG, BE YOU, BE AMAZING

Friendship card

If you are here for  the freebie "Time Well Spent",( Father's Day Digital Image) Go HERE

Hello!

Can you believe that School is almost out for summer!! I get really excited for Michael as I know he will be counting down everyday.
I have been taking part in going to the Snoozlum Room with Michael for the past few months,

A Snoezelen room is a room filled with sensory equipment and materials , they have a wide range in objects that provide sounds , tectures, sights  and motion and the best part is you can modify it according to each childs sensory needs!

I have come to know and adore Micahel's Teacher Assisant "Mrs. Laura", every Monday and Wednesday  Mrs. Laura takes Michael to this room , it is outside of the school so we meet up and all three of us  really enjoy it!!!, personally I love getting into the sea of balls with Michael, hehe!

So with school ending I really wanted to make a card for my new friend, I intially set out to do a Thank You card but it felt too formal, we past that!, so I used a friendship stamp that says
"Friendships are flowers in the garden of life"
I will be giving this card at the end of the shcool year, only17 more days!

I used the butterfly stamp from "Priceless joy" byAlley Way Stamps"... I stamped the image on pattern paper and plain yellow cardstock. I then cut the pieces out, yes even those little oval parts inside the wings and the teeny circles on top of the antenna's, hehe!

The paper is from a 6" by 6" pad from Paper Made Bakery "May Kit"

Have a super day!!!!

Freebie - "Time Well Spent"

Hello everyone!  It is Bit By the Bug day.  This week Naomi and I once again offer you a freebie to help you get ready for any Father's Day card you may need to create.  The day is closing in fast and will be upon us in less than two weeks.

As I suspected no one was able to figure out this image although there were a couple interesting attempts.  However there are no upside boys nor peeing occurring in this particular image as you can see for yourself.  I finally outwitted all of you.  I'm suspecting that will be a rarity, you guys are normally just too good.

Today we offer up, "Time Well Spent".

Click HERE to get "Time Well Spent".  Available from June 4th until June 17th.  After that it will be replaced with another freebie.

Is there anything more perfect for a son and father to do than spend some quality time together out of doors?  In this particular scene father and son spend a day fishing off the cottage dock.  How many of you out there have watched this exact scene play out in the past?  While I unfortunately have no children myself, I do have fond memories growing up of watching my uncle and cousin do exactly this.  Ah memories...  Isn't it interesting the different types of memories and emotions we can experience just from looking at a digital image?

Now Jennifer from Krafty Keepsakes had some extra time on her hands to help show off this fabulous new image and created this card for the occasion...

With a closer look at Parker and his papa...

Special thanks to Jennifer for her contribution this week.  If any of you would like to help us showcase the image for the New Release we have coming out on June 13th, please EMAIL ME

Now if you have had the time to read the post from Saturday regarding Naomi's new direction (click HERE for that post), you will have noticed that one of new changes we are going to implement around here is to actually create a Design Team to work with Naomi's fabulous images.  I am busy behind the scenes getting everything ready for that intriguing new part of Creative Bug Digitals.  Once the behind the scenes info is all set up, we'll be able to host our first ever DT call.  Exciting new stuff going on over here and we hope that you will continue with us while we implement these new directions.

Also, as we have mentioned, the frequency of freebies will be decreasing to two a month but the straight new releases will be increasing to four a month.  So, I'll still be back on Saturday with a sneak peek, only this time it will be for the new release coming out on Thursday, June 13th.

Well that is it for today. Thanks for stopping by everyone!  I look forward to visiting with all of you again on Saturday.
