Twin Baby Album (Photo Video)

Video is now working! Thanks Christina for letting me know

Hey!!!
I hope you are all having a fantastic day such as myself!! No, there is no reason, just happy!!!

Today I am excited to show you an album I completed for  twin babies! You start to think it will never get done and it will land in the "incomplete stash" in your scraproom but this was an order and that itself was a motivation ... the lady who ordered this album is giving it to her sister, what a thoughtful gift hey? The babies will be born in August but mama  already knows its a girl and boy. Who hoo! Another set of twins in the world! ( I am a twin, hehe)
Where there are no pictures in this album I was was given permission to put it on my blog...bless her  cotton socks,  my client was very happy with the results so therefore of course I am!

Without further adieu!!!!   ( I did another picture video so grab a coffee and get comfortable.)

Have a super day!!!

Rosette Butterfly Tutorial

So here I am with the Rosette Butterfly tutorial I promised you! I decided  instead of posting a lot of pictures I would make a picture movie.. this is my first video picture tutorial so be easy on me, lol

Enjoy! I would love to see your Rosette Butterflies if you choose to make them!

I used my new Tim Holtz design ruler to make the pierced dotted line and the boarder is from Spellbinders Shapabilities, Ironworks Motifs and Accents.

I used holograpic embossing powder for the sentiment, and the diecut is from Spellbinders Shapabilities, Ironworks motifs and Accents.
The background paper is printed from my new Candy Doodles Collector's edition CD.

Tomorrow I am showing my completed scraproom! Stay tuned and have a fantastic day!

Rosette Butterflies

Hi! I hope everyone is having a fantastic morning! If you have been following my post you will know that I am putting together my new scraproom. I don't have all my supplies in there yet because I have friends visiting from BC, Canada and we have been really busy making a short time together go a long way.

But  I did get crafty!!!! I made butterflies out of the rosettes I made early this week... I was taking a chance cutting them up but that is what crafting is all about, being adventurous!!!  This is what I came up with and I will be doing a picture tutorial on them tomorrow!!!  I absolutely love them and have never seen them made before so I am thinking this is my own creation... I know you'll love them!!!!

Sorry about the lighting in the photo's , it is a grey day here on the Island.

Have a great day!

Neighbour BBQ

Hey y'all!!
I had to drop in and tell you about last evening, our neighbours invited us to a neighbourhood BBQ and it was incredible! We are talking about an endless supply of food, lobster salad, muscles, clams, and everything from hot dogs to steak... later we all sat around a fire pit with the flames ablaze roasting marshmallows, singing (yes I got the nerve to play guitar and sing!) and everyone was so kind!! It was so nice to get to know them a little better. This is an event that goes on several times each summer , I really can't wait until the next one!

Here are a few pics! Just look at the streams of light from the fire, amazing hey???

So as for the scraproom I managed to get some of my supplies in but would rather wait until everything is completely in before taking a photo...then I will be organizing and decorating!!! I am searching ways to do just that and thank you all for your suggestions, I have decided to go with Julie's idea using Wallies!!! Thanks Julie

Have a great day
