Using Mirror Card

It is the end of the week once again and I hope you all have a fantastic weekend. Today I want to show you a few cards I did this week and I will be making free digital's next week so don't forget to drop back in.

The first one is my favorite card of all time, I am really learning a lot of new techniques and finding out more products which in itself can get the creative juices flowing. On the first Card I used Mirror Card sent to me from a friend all the way from England! This mirror card has a flourish print and what I love most is it takes on the colors in the room by its reflective quality!

Have a fantastic weekend, I know I will, we are planning on going bowling!

My first coloring job with distress inks... hahahaha I now know that you need a special type of paper so the printed image won't bleed and also that I could stamp an image with stayzon ink then color it.

I made this flowers by cutting a spiral out with scallop scissors, then rolled them up and glued it so it would unravel... I can't wait to get my grand caliber and the spellbinder to make this flower, very soon I'll have it!, I am like a little girl waiting to get it.

Free Wee Shy boy digital

I can't believe it is Thursday already! Time flies when you are having fun or working really hard, I am truly loving this new avenue I have taken creating digitals and yes I have another one for you , this is my favorite so far. It is surprising how much I am learning through Illustrator CS4 just playing around as opposed to having taken a course, of course the course helped out immensely! lol . A bit of a tounge twister there!

You may have noticed I have mentioned Christina's blog or Website many times lately and that is because we have joined forces. Christina mezmorizes me with her talent and I am proud to call her my friend. Again Christine will be doing a card with this cute little boy on it, how she whips them together so fast I will never know and yet so beautiful. Visit Christine here to see this image used on a card and don't forget, I really would love to see what you make!

Happy Card Making!

Winter Girl digital Image

I hope everyone is having a fantastic week! I kept busy illustrating this cute little girl with an expression of contentment enjoying winter. I will be doing a little boy very soon.

You may choose to create a winter scene or an object that she is content looking at, you may even want to have falling snow! I would love to see how creative you can get with this little girl and seeing she is free, take advantage while it lasts!!!

I only did the version where she is not colored and it is a jpeg. image. If there is any problem just let me know!

Here is the little cutie:

Here is an example from my most talented, amazing friend... she really made this little girl come to life..... if you want to see more amazing cards visit Christina over at her blog, click HERE , beware, you will become addicted to her creations like I was.

Also Christina has the most elaborate Card Making site I have ever entered... it would be easier for me to tell you what's not there! lol Check it out HERE

Here is Christina's project!

I love how Christina used Spectrum Noir pens to not only do a fantastic job coloring the little girl but also how she made it more realistic by creating a shadow below where she is standing. Also Christina is the Queen of spellbinders in my eyes and had just created four videos that will open your eyes to a whole new world "creating with spellbinders." If you have any questions about them , she is your girl. Just follow the link above to her Website.

Isn't this card gorgous!!!!!!!
