You Make My Heart Flutter

Hello again!

It's been over two weeks since I've blogged and my excuse is I've been craftin!!  I have so much to show you but today I picked two projects that I love love love!! The first one is a "Tab/ThankYou Card" and seeing that Valentines is just around the corner my second one is a  "Cross Over/Valentines Card," Both I learned from the lovely Christina!!
I found Christina through a search in Youtube and she is now my favorite  "go to person" for inspiration...Ladies check this lady out, she is crazy talented, elegant and has a lot of tricks up her sleeve. I am honored to be in contact with her. Christina is also found at www.card-making-magic.com

On to my projects!
I hope I make you proud Christina

TAB CARD

I love this Tab Card, it is elegant yet fun... I embossed the tab backwards but still love the look and went with it... the flowers are mix matches from different flowers accumulated through the years...most are from the dollar store. To spruce them up first I painted them. I added Perfect Pearl to acrylic paint with a dab of water . When dry I pressed the ends of the flowers into perfect medium and then painted on more Perfect Pearl which is my newest product! It is endless what you can do with that stuff! It is the basis for all things glittery! If you want to know how to make a tab card , refer to the link above.

CROSS OVER CARD

The stitching is around the word " Feburary", the camera didn't catch it.  I typed the words in Microsoft Word " You make my heart flutter" and also the images through the clipart search. The ribbon I got at the dollar store, it is very wide so I just cut it to the size I want. I added stickles to the rose petals on the heart which you will see better in the next picture.

Taken out of pocket:

I inked the edges of the word blocks with Tim Holtz red distress ink and also oulined the first block with stickles.

Be sure to come back and see what else I have in store for you,

Happy Blogging!!!!
